Project “Business-Community"

The “Business-Community” project, promoted by Confindustria Vicenza in collaboration with the Department of Management at the University of Verona, is entering its final phase.
The research was launched with the goal of analyzing the dynamics of collaboration between businesses and communities in the Vicenza area, with a particular focus on the partnership practices adopted by member companies.
As part of the project, a survey was conducted among member companies, which made it possible to collect data on the nature and intensity of relationships between businesses and communities. Based on the findings, a rating system was also developed to measure and compare companies’ performance in the area of business-community relations and to identify the most significant experiences worthy of further exploration.
An important discussion session is scheduled for October 12, 2026, when the Sustainability Governance Lab at the Loop Research Center will organize a focus group titled “Business and Community: Building Partnerships That Generate Shared Value”. The meeting will involve a group of companies selected from among those that have demonstrated the most significant performance in the area of business-community relations, with the goal of exploring experiences, practices, and factors that foster effective collaborations with the local community.
The project will conclude on November 4, 2026, with a research talk at Confindustria Vicenza, during which the main findings of the research and their implications for businesses and the local community will be presented.
